Basic Test Parameters

The tool to use in performing the one-way delay test tool

Any tool other than owamp requires pSConfig and pS 4.1

Schedule Type

Test Schedule

Please configure your test schedule.

Note that continuously streaming one-way delay tests is recommended; otherwise loss events etc may be missed.

seconds

The time in between one-way delay tests in seconds test_interval

seconds

The length to run each one-way delay test in seconds duration

Seconds

The bin size for histogram calculations in terms of seconds. For example a value such as .001 means all histogram bins will be in milliseconds. bucket_width

Packets Per Second

The mean average time between packets in seconds. For example, .1 means send 10 packets per second. packet_interval

tests

The number of packets contained in each summary. This combined with packet_interval determines how often data is stored. For example, a packet_interval of .1 (10 packets per second) and sample_count of 600 stores a result every 60 seconds sample_count

bytes

The size of the padding added to each packet in bytes (not including the IP/UDP headers) packet_padding

Forces each side to use IPv4/IPv6. Test will fail if no IPv4/IPv6 address can be determined for either endpoint ipv4_only/ipv6_only

Advanced Test Parameters

The type of service to set in the IP header of outgoing packets as an integer from 0-255 tos_bits

This will store the raw owamp results as JSON in the measurement archive output_raw
